Going Digital: Hints, Tips, and Tricks for the Transition to a (mostly) Paperless Secondary Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Technology has the power to dramatically change the process of teaching and learning; at the same time, adopting new classroom tech does come with a number of challenges. In this session, I'll share my experiences attempting to create a (mostly) paperless classroom. At the end of the day, the particular tools you use don’t matter—what does, though, are the strategies and structures you put into place to make your paperless classroom run as smoothly as your paper-based one.

My examples will be drawn from my use of Google Classroom, Goobric, Doctopus and other tech ed tools, but the learning goals of this class will focus on helping you avoid some potential pitfalls by adopting successful practices (and learning from my experience), and not how to use these particular tools.
