Using Line Designs to Teach Math, Art, & Writing

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Line designs are geometric patterns formed by straight line segments that produce the illusion of a curve. In this class you will draw your own line designs to discover how you can use these constructions to develop math concepts and skills in geometry and measurement. You can design math performance tasks for your students. You will able to offer your students practice using math tools and incorporate art elements and writing experience. Nurture your students’ growth mindset, learning styles and Future Ready Skills. Reach both reluctant and advanced learners with the differentiated tasks you can offer. Support your curriculum and engage your students with the appeal and creativity of line designs this year!
