Using Constructive Lessons in an Active Flipped Classroom to Help Students make Connections and Improve Retention in a Math Class

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, I will share the advantages an active flipped class provides. Specifically, the additional class time that allows for constructive style learning and real-world application. These lessons promote engagement, improved perseverance and self-efficacy, strong math connections and long-term retention. I will share my constructive lessons, technology and real-world application used in class. These math practices can be applied to any style of class once, multiple times during specific lessons or full time.
